Interlink/Relate Industry/Sector

Introduction:

Videos are best viewed full screen at 1080p resolution.

Depending on what version of the CMS your website uses, the Content drop down may display Industries instead of Sectors.

Step by Step Instructions:

Step 1: Go to the Content Item that you wish to add the relationship on. (Example: You want to relate an Industry to a new or existing News Item)

From the top navigation, click on Content drop down and then News Items, Search for an existing News Item or create a new one. This will bring you to the Create/Edit News Item Dialog.

Step 2: Select Sectors.
In the Related Content section, click the + button under Related Sectors/Industries to bring up the hierarchical list of industries within the CMS.

Step 3a: Select the Sectors/Industries.
If you see the sector/industry you wish to relate to the content in the recent list, click on the title to select it.  If you do not see the industry/sector click on the 'Show all sectors' option.

Repeat this step to associate another sector/industry with the content.  You can relate as many sectors/industries as you wish.

Step 3b: Show all sectors option.
From this screen you can select multiple sectors/industries at one time by clicking on the check boxes next to the sector names.  Once all are selected, click on the Use selected button.

Step 4: Reorder the related Sectors/Industries.
To change the order of the related sectors/industries click on the sector you wish to move, hold, and drag the sector to the desired location in the sector list.

Note: To remove a Related Sector/Industry click the X button next to the service title..  You may have to hover over the Sector name for the X option to appear.

Step 5: Status the content.

Using the status bar make the content live on your website by clicking the Publish button. If you want to save your changes without making them live click the Save as Draft button.

Note: To view the content prior to publishing, you can use the preview feature. This will show exactly how the content will look once published. To preview, click the Preview button (content must be statused as draft prior to previewing).
